A private estate, a home to 80 boys evacuated during the war, an RAF intelligence base, a business headquarters in 70’s… Country house hotel, Danesfield House has a long and varied history. It now serves as a charming and characterful hotel, spa & wedding venue. Despite its grandeur; a ceremony room straight from Versailles, a clock tower, and beautifully manicured gardens with stunning views over the Chiltern Hills and River Thames, the venue is unpretentious. It was the perfect spot for Georgia & James’ elegant English wedding.
Georgia looked absolutely gorgeous in Suzanne Neville’s ‘Molly’ dress; with with its billowing, side split skirt, off-shoulder cut and delicate chiffon sleeves. James looked super suave in black tie.
Verity & Thyme did a wonderful job with the floristry. I was particularly blown away by the fireplace flowers; they made the most beautiful backdrop for the ceremony.
James & Georgia ensured the music never stopped and their 80 guests were always entertained with the fabulous Phat Cats playing live and roaming throughout the drinks reception. Such a great idea and gets everyone in a party mood from the get-go.
I had such a blast with G & J, their adorable daughter and the rest of their friends & family. Such a fun-loving group of people who partied (very) hard into the evening!
It was also an absolute pleasure to work alongside my favourite videography duo, the Wedding Filmmakers. It’s so important your photographer and videographer get on and have similar working styles. I cannot recommend Adam and Rachel enough!
